Regina Moore of Moore Casting will be doing the Extras Casting (Extras) for “Still the King”.
PROJECT: Television Comedy Show shooting in Nashville TN – “Still the King” Extras Casting – Local Talent
SHOOT DATES: Starts October 5, 2015 and goes through January 22, 2016
Early next year (2016), CMT will debut:
- “Still The King” (timing TBD) – Starring Billy Ray Cyrus, the scripted comedy features Cyrus as Vernon Brown, AKA “Burnin’ Vernon,” a scandal-ridden washed up one-hit wonder who is kicked out of country music, only to emerge 20 years later as the second best Elvis impersonator in Laughlin, Nevada. After crashing into an old country church outside of Nashville during a drunken bender, he is sentenced to return and perform community service. Along the way, he pretends to be the congregation’s new minister and discovers he has a 15-year-old daughter he’s never met. “Still The King” is produced by HIDEOUT PICTURES with Billy Ray Cyrus serving as executive producer and writer.

EMAIL HEADSHOT PULL – A Southern small town community will be represented in this scripted comedy. We are looking for all types, all ethnicities (Caucasian, African American, Hispanic, etc.…) male & female, ages 10 and up.
RATE: Extra – $64.00 a day for 8 hrs.- Additional time will include additional fee. Could go from 8 to 12 hours.

They are committed to using local Actors and hope to find some that may be bumped due to script or use of character. All talent will be hired with the understanding that they are an extra.
